Learn to make adjustments with your life.
Treatment can take its toll on your body,
which is normal. You may take some slack
off work, or quit working altogether. This
should not make you feel bad. Think of all
the other things that you can do with the
time in your hands. These are things that
you regret of not doing when you were too
busy with work. Start a new craft or
hobby.
Do
something that you've always been
interested in doing. Call an old friend.
Spend more time with your family. Whatever
happens, your family and loved-ones will
always be there to love and support you
always.
The
fight against breast cancer can be a long
battle. More than the fight against the
tumor is your own battle against yourself.
You can bear the side effects of treatment
and physical pain, but not the pain and
fear that cancer might recur. Learning how
to live with breast cancer can be
difficult. What is essential is to live a
full life, take time to enjoy every
moment, and live your life a day at a
time.
